Q. Do I need an appointment to try on dresses?

A. It isn't always essential, but we can get very busy at times - especially on Friday evenings and Saturdays. Brides with an appointment have a changing room and a member of staff to help them, so if you can book in advance it helps.
Weekdays tend to be much quieter and you are much more likely to be able to try on dresses without an appointment.

Q. What if I just want to look?

A. You are very welcome to come in and browse, but if we are very busy you may not be able to try on dresses.

Q. Do you sell bridesmaids dresses?

A. Sorry, no, we specialise in wedding dresses, except for a couple of bridesmaid styles which work well as simple, inexpensive bridal gowns.

Q. What is your price range?

A. We have wedding dresses priced from £300 to £1200 - an average cost is £550 - £700.
Shoes range from £40 - £70.
Veils and tiaras start at around £35.

Q. What sizes have you got in stock?

A. Most of our sample dresses are in a size 14, with a couple of smaller sizes. We also have a good selection of samples in sizes 16 to 26.
You are welcome to try any sample - regardless of size.

Q. Do you make dresses?

A. Sorry but no, we now only sell ready-made gowns. We can however, make jackets or wraps etc. to match our dresses and of course, carry out any alterations required on our dresses.
Please note that prices do not include alteration charges.

Q. When should I start looking for my dress?

A. Bear in mind that fashions do change, so start looking 12 - 18 months before your wedding, and aim to order at the latest 6 months before. Dresses can take up to 3 months to arrive and then you need to allow time for fittings and alterations.

Q. Will I need to pay a deposit when I order?

A. Yes, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required when you place your order. The balance is due when the dress arrives.

Q. Do you have every dress from each collection?

A. No, unfortunately we don't have room to stock every dress, but we do try to take as wide a selection of styles as possible. If you are trying to find a particular dress, please call us with the style number and we will tell you if we have it or something similar.
We try to make sure that all the dresses featured on our website are in stock in the shop - but do call first to make sure.

Q. What does the Email Link do when I am viewing a sample dress?

A. It lets you send a link to that picture to a friend via email so that they can view it easily. Enter their email address in the "Send To" box and enter your email address in the "From" box. Enter a suitable subject and message in the other boxes. Then click on the "Send Email" link.
Note that if you don't enter a valid email address in the "From" box, the email will not be sent.
